Introduction
Engineered base is that type of base in which all the offences or we can say attacking power is upgraded but the defences are not fully upgraded. In Engineered base a player will have all the troops upgraded to its maximum level but he will have weak defence buildings like archer towers，wizard towers，cannons etc.
Why people use it
Actually the Clash Of Clans war matchmaking mechanics work with war weight numbers and war weight is highly affected with the amount of Gold a player has，his defences and his over all upgrades. The answer for the Question is people who always fight wars with other Clans want to increase their win streak and by upgrading your offences only without upgrading your defences Clash Of Clans mechanics are kind of confused and as a result player with town hall 10 is often kept at enemy base No.10 or No.9 which gives an advantage to the player who is using an Engineered base. Because even if it is not fully upgraded town hall but its attacking units are fully upgraded along with spells and heroes which can easily take down the Enemy base no.1 without any problem
Pros and cons
There are the following pros and cons of an engineered base.
As the base is not fully upgraded it will have weakest defence in the clan which makes it an easy target for opponent to get 3 stars but on the other hand it has high attack power which，if used correctly will always bring 3 stars and it can turn the table and leads to winning the war
I have heard that Clash Of Clans has "nerfed" the "Engineered bases" but still you can encounter them during the war which means they still exists. I will let you guys know if there is anything new about the Engineered bases here is an example of an Engineered base
